I can see it, Delonge and Stryker travel all over the USA meeting people that have seen UFO’s or maybe even had contact with someone from another galaxy.

We mingle with these people, it’s fun, it’s serious, we tell stories and hear stories.

Think American Pickers meets Rob and Big meets Anthony Bourdain.

Don’t we look like a nice TV couple? Hey History (channel), we’re ready.

Very sad today hearing the news that MCA from the Beastie Boys lost his fight with cancer and passed away. For over two decades they never lost their vision and kept their credibility.

Beastie Boys have are one of the biggest bands of my lifetime. I’m really happy I got to meet Adam Yauch.

The only reason why I asked James Mercer from The Shins if he knew how to cook meth was becasued he lived in Albuquerque, NM for a bit. Who doesn’t watch Breaking Bad? James Mercer DOES watch Breaking Bad.

I also asked him if he owned a Winnebago, he does not…..however, his parents do own a motor home.

What a great time Coachella 2012 was. I went both weekends, did about 18 hours of live radio, about 11 different band interviews, 42 bottles of water consumed, lot’s of caffeine and continued my lip balm addiction. There were many highlights, one of them was hanging with Dan Auerbach and Pat Carney from The Black Keys (separate days)

Look at our beards. Aren’t we just NOT hip and NOT cool? Well Dan is, I am not.

Below you see Pat and I, just guys, sitting on chairs talking on the radio, wearing the same glasses.

The best thing to come from my conversations with the guys was when I asked them….

“Who would you rather have as a house keeper?

A. Alice from The Brady Bunch

B. Mrs Garrett from Different Strokes and Facts of Life

c. Mr. Belvedere

Both guys said of course….Mr. Belvedere. What made Dan’s answer so great was that he said that Mr. B. could also work security. Good talk guys.

I just watched the trailer again for Sushi Girl. I had such a fun time working one very long day in the movie. I think it comes out towards the end of this year. The cast is awesome.

I must give a huge thanks to my Sydney posse.

Cody, Stryker, Adrian (If the great people from Famous are seeing this, please send these guys some stuff)

We went to Sydney, Australia for work, believe me, I know that is hardly work, but someone had to cover the Australian open of Surf and broadcast 5 days from Sydney.

With the crazy time difference and not being in America, it was not an easy task.

My two co-workers hit home runs, Cody Blackout and Adrian “I want my noodles” Garcia were just the best.

Although Sydney is far, it’s an easy place to get to and affordable. The people of Sydney were hospitable, cool, warm and so friendly.
